Meet The Doctors

Dr. DeLange and Dr. Krygier-Murphy are Optometrists serving Lockport, NY and surrounding communities.

Dr. DeLange and Dr. Krygier-Murphy enjoy caring for patients at East Avenue Vision Center and look forward to the one-on-one interaction involved with solving eye health and vision problems.

Paul S. DeLange, O.D.

Dr._DeLange_1_1I grew up in Lockport, NY and enjoyed playing sports during high school. After completing pre-requisite courses for Optometry during undergraduate school. I then received my Bachelor of Science in Vision Sciend and Doctor of Optometry degrees (B.S.V.S., O.D.) in 1975 from the Illinois College of Optometry. Since my wife Debby and I are both from Lockport, we decided to start a practice here in 1976. In providing eyecare to my patients, I most enjoy the one on one interaction while solving their eye and vision problems. The trust that patients put in their eye doctor gives me enormous satisfaction as well as significant responsibility. Being "over 45", I certainly have some great prospective in PRESBYOPIA and how to prescribe glasses and contact lenses for "mature vision" challenges. East Avenue Vision Center staff and doctors are all truly committed to providing first class eye care services.

Jocelyn Krygier-Murphy, O.D.

resized_250x187_New_ImageI grew up in West Seneca, NY and graduated from Canisius College (B.S) in 1996.I traveled to Philadelphia, PA to attend Pennsylvania College of Optometry. After receiving my degree in optometry (O.D.) in 2000, I returned to Western New York. I was fortunate to spend the first five years at Atwal Eye Care in Cheektowaga and Buffalo. Since then I have enjoyed working in all aspects of primary eye care at the East Avenue Vision Center. I am proud to have served the families in the Lockport area for more than five years.

My husband Mike (who is also an Optometrist) and I make our home in East Amherst, where we are raising two active children, Jacob and Ally. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and volunteering at St. Gregory the Great School.
